Comment by Sir Ernest Octave Suszczynski on February 8, 2013 at 7:29pm The owner of this group joined the military and isn't really active anymore in the area. Airship Passepartout does have a group on Steampunk Empire, but we don't update it enough. As Gayle mentioned we do have a very active group that typically uses a page on Facebook. In fact we have an event this Saturday, Sunday and on the 22nd.

Comment by Edward Lacy on February 8, 2013 at 5:40pm Is this group still active? The most recent posts I see are several months old. If it is active, are there any meetings or events impending?
Comment by Michael Margerum on January 13, 2013 at 10:47pm Be sure to visit and support the Dayton Art Institute. It is surely one the finest buildings in the Miami Valley. The great hall, renaissance, and gothic courtyards will delight enthusiasts of architectural history. Exploring the galleries is like a journey through time and around the globe.

Comment by Michael Margerum on October 4, 2012 at 9:25am Middfest, Middletown's annual international festival, will be celebrating the culture and cuisine of France this weekend in Middletown, OH. There will be musical and theatrical entertainment, as well as artistic, scientific, and historical displays, indoors and out all weekend. There will also be games and activities for children. There is also an international food court with vendors representing a variety of nations. The festival begins at 6pm friday and runs all day Saturday and Sunday . The location is at Donham Plaza in Downtown Middletown. I cannot say if there will be anything of steampunk interest there but there should be something to interest everyone.

Comment by Michael Margerum on June 27, 2012 at 9:41pm The first Saturday after the Fourth of July there will be an antique fire engine show in Germantown. It's an annual event. Sometimes there are some old steam fire engines there and always plenty of early firefighting equipment that might be of interest to the folks here.
