Howdy folks,

I will be putting on a parlor performance along with my band The Abandoned Buildings.  The League of Sophisticate Degenerates Clubb has been kind enough to offer up their dwelling to us for the night for the performance.

All the details are on the facebook invite, so please do RSVP so we know who and how many to expect.

I hope to see many of you there!

As I was idly spinning my chronometer, whilst drifting through the aether, I chanced upon an announcement, that the chronologically dislocated ancestor of Prof. Fulbright T. Moone. Cap't Fletcher T. Moone and his pyrate crew will be singing, chantying, and generally carrying on at Howard County's Centennial lake in less than 24 hours; Wed 7/18 7-8:30 p.m.

Assuming a Red sky in the morning does not preclude the concert!

My daughter and I intend to come fully armed with our parasols (which fortunately are also fully  functional as parapluies)

Well next year we will all have to plan...I don't mind the Ren Faire I just will either go in plain clothes or do Steampunk.I understand,Professor with the weather and clothing. I did a "dry run" the other weekend at the cemetery potluck in DC and I was good except I need more layers under the skirt if I am to survive winter strolls. So pantaloons and petticoats for me! The costume gloves held up surprisingly well,as did my 1960's Grandmother's mink collar coat. Now I just need to plan more outfits and am working on a "pants" outfit because I can only take so much of dresses/skirts.

I ended up going to the last day of MDRF, but I decided that it was too cold to wear my Steampunk gear. I saw a bunch Steampunks including some SASI members.

Oh well, Halloween is only a week away.

I was there this past weekend; they had a bit of a Steampunk affair but not the turnout needed to "rock the place" so to speak.  I definitely plan on going again on October 23.  ^_^

Is anyone planning to go to MDRF on Sunday, October 23? It's the last day of the Faire, aka The Day of Wrong.

I met many of the SASI members during the Revel Grove Time Travel Project last year and I would enjoy seeing you again.

I will be down at the MDRF tomorrow, most likely in Renn Garb, depending on the weather.
