Interested? Here’s our schedule…

Sunday October 2. 2 to 8 pm.

We’ll be on the patio at Science Club.  Come and hang out with us. We’ll be listening to some cool melodies and enjoying fine drinks. Bring some clothes you would like to consign. We’ll approve what works for us, work with you to price it and put it in our inventory.  Start thinking about your Tweed Ride ensemble. Need a brush up on the era? We’ve got a special treat. Join us for a special screening of clips of Prohibition, the new film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick. A co-production of Florentine Films and WETA. The film explores the Prohibition movement in historical context and spotlights the  monumental social and cultural change wrought by the Eighteenth Amendment and its ineffectual enforcement.  Tune in to  WETA TV 26 or WETA HD later that night to catch the film’s 8 p.m. premiere.

Sunday October 16. 2 to 8 pm.

On this Sunday, well be set up to begin selling what we’ve collected. You can continue to bring in clothes and we will work quickly to get approved pieces priced, inventoried and on display. If you don’t have anything to sell but want to see what’s available, that’s fine! If you want to simply join us for drinks and grab a bite, stop by and spend some time with us as discuss clothes, style, leisure and more.

Sunday October 30. 2 to 8 pm

Our final day of buying and selling before the Tweed Ride. We plan to include select vendors as a part of the experience to help you get outfitted for the upcoming November Tweed Ride.

Alas, the weather is looking dismal and all of our steampunk gear, such as it is, is meant for warmer, drier climes.  I don't think we will make it to MDRF today, we probably will be there tomorrow, in cozier ren garb, and thus flying under the radar.  I'll try to work in a cog or two.

I will not be attending but am attending on the 15th with two coworkers. I shall be in modern dress so I would love to meet anyone there on the 15th.My game plan with them is drinking and people watching.

I say Who is attending the time trip on the 1st? I shall be in attendance but unfortunatley my wife Matilda willbe in another time. I usually make my first stop and loiter at Middletons (O'Shucks in there current timeline) I'm easy to spot, bright red, a pith helmet and a kilt! See you all there.

P.S. As for Master Nymblewyke, perhaps a comment regarding wooden hats or fleas!

Our family will be there.  Is there any particular time or place to meet?

Do beware of Master Nymblewyke, or be prepared with witty repartee.   He has something against goggles.

Thank you, Captain Lokpik, for mentioning the October 1 weekend Steampunk invasion.  We travel a great distance to attend, and this heads-up will help us to plan our weekend intineraries!

I will be making several appearances at the Revel Grove. It would be absoulutely wonderful to see many of you down there!  Let me know what weekend most of you are making your way there.

Harrumph! I have a previous engagement on Oct 1st, so I can't be at Revel Grove on that day. However, I would appreciate any additional information in case my plans change.

I hope that the SASI outing will be on the last day of the fair (a.k.a. The Day of Wrong) like it was last year.

Comment by Captian Lokpik on September 6, 2011 at 5:53am

Word at Revel Grove is the weekend of Oct 1st there will be a Steampunk invasion.

I don't remember the name of the shop, but it's next to dragonwings, he has some geek sticks (flash drives) in the steampunk style and I was told that Southern Exposure also has some jewelry.
