Comment by Shahbanoo Pantea on May 18, 2012 at 1:06pm Bats Day at Disneyland is this weekend, and SoCal residents can get a two day park-hopper pass for $115 dollars (which is a serious discount). While I know that's TECHNICALLY goth and not steampunk, I'm still going in a bustle and in steampunk persona along with a few friends and a ghoul and encouraging other Steampunks to do the same, since many of us started off as "goth". :)

Comment by Nautilus Salvage Company, Ltd. on March 11, 2012 at 10:11pm To the Sons and Daughters ~ dearest family, we are, of course, elated over the "discovery" of the blueprints for the Nautilus ~ however, based on a recent incident we would caution you against printing up and selling the blueprints. A friend, Holzheimer's in LA, approached the Disney people with the purpose of buying the licensing so they could create a beautifully rendered portfolio. Now they, like us, sell movie memorabilia and have done so for close to 47 years ~ MaryLee Holzheimer went into negotiations but in the end the license was denied. There is, she was told, a possibility that a portfolio would be forthcoming in the future, but most likely it will be featured and sold at Disney Tokyo where the entire Nautilus experience is magnificent and awesome. We've all learned that one doesn't mess with the Mouse! So enjoy, copy for yourselves, but avoid the urge to make multiples and sell them. Consider this friendly advice from folks who have to deal with studios types often. The blueprints are truly a treasure and priceless to all of us in this esteemed community.
