Comment by CoastConFan on January 2, 2013 at 7:51am Your best bet is to use social media to search out steampunkers such as:

BirminghamRegionalAssociationofSteampunkSavants@yahoogroups.com
Try local conventions in Birmingham such as ImagiCon to meet up with steampunkers. You’ll have to do a little detective work and think out of the box.

I was curious if any of our members are in the Piedmont area of South Carolina, more specifically Greenville County and surrounding areas.
Comment by CoastConFan on December 6, 2012 at 12:45pm Hello Yiliannia, welcome. I viewed some of your photos and think your goth background can only be an asset to The Steampunk Empire. After all, the Victorians were some of the first goths out there. I like your Edwin Gorey type avatar as well.
Greetings. As I am a new affiliate to your association, I hope to share my interests in the artistic aspect of Steampunk. I have created a few assemblage pieces, as well as functional items to use around my domicile. Perchance, there are fellow artisans that also wish to share their creative visions.

I plan to take many photos, some of which, I'm sure, will be presentable enough to post. Since this is Frankfort's first tweed ride, we hope for a good turn-out.
And good weather!
With Wishes for a Pleasant Day, Phineas Sprockett
