Had a Grand Time making this Commercial. The Steampunk Gettysburg event looks to be a very fun time

Sorry, have been away on business in the 18th Century. We dont mention that, Good Sir, suffice to say, one may been seen as a god to indigenous people or a Witch by other cultures.

Tips for Traveling thru Time~ Carry the correct Currency and keep anarchronistic items to a bare minimum(we dont mention the "Flashlight Incident").

Counterfeiting in the past was seen as a crime against the State and often punishable be death and anarchronistic items can lead to those pesky witchcraft charges.

Study up on when and where you are traveling to and "Change Nothing" is the Time Travelers watchcry. Must dash, heading off to 1861 this weekend,

Cheers,

Major Salisbury

Time Travel has always been an interested of mine for many reasons, personal, and scientific. I believe if one could go faster than the light than they would be able to go into the past.

I don't see how you can go into Tomorrow, because it doesn't exist. I am open to anyone thoughts on my hypothesis.

definition of time: an invention of mankind use to incrementally document that which only he seems to care about.  his own existance.

I'm not one to risk those mad contraptions, I've heard the story's of people being torn inside out. guts sprayed everywhere. but time travel tips would be useful...

I am surely no Samurai.   just another wanderer whose master has been slain leaving me without a place in the world to call my own or purpose which to serve.

so, I call myself Ronin in the interim for lack of a better term.

thank you.  a spot of tea would be nice

so, after reading through all of this, a thought popped into my head.  if indeed hitler were slain before the war, what then of nuclear power?  or more specifically, nuclear weapons?

would the US have been the first to use it as a weapon?  to have ever developed it?  a reason germany wasnt able to develop a nuclear weapon during the war was the scientists recognizing the potential for utter disaster in hitlers hands (as well as the allied powers actively seeking their defection with promises of funding, freedom, apple pie and the like).  however, with hitler removed from the picture...I wonder what events would/could have taken the place of the german atomic scientific teams defecting to the allies?

I tend to agree that the tides of time would still have brought forth the harnessing of the atom, but how, who, where and why could truly have changed the shape of the world we see now.  whether such a change would have been for better or for worse is up for debate, of course.

and if I may be so bold, Id love a scone if I may.

Couldn't we just bring back the Dodo bird?

I am so awfully fond of the dodo bird. What with it's large beak and short squatty little body...whats not to love...I'd have a whole gaggle of them I assure you...right over there in my bathtub...can they swim? Hmmmm.....

Or perhaps just those Wax Bottles...yes the world would be a better place with some of those little candies that no longer exist.

Yes. Yes. Yes... I'm sorry Forlath I didn't read far enough down the page... merely skimmed if you will.

What you suggest  ‘time flows like a river’ make very logical sense. In fact I would agree and hope for such. For I have moments in my past which I would like to take back yet still have the outcome remain the same somehow. Without going into full detail of my life, I would use a time machine to go back...change my choices, and if your hypothesis is correct...I would then still have certain beautiful people in my life...

Mara...I'm not sure we think differently than men...well never mind as my husband would tell you yes we do...and he would bring up the charts and science journals to prove his point...

Right where was I....oh!

If I understand you correctly...then in your view we could all be blissfully unaware of any change in history...ANd That! suits me just fine as well...

Topic of interest for me...

Have you all herd of Mr. John Titor?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Titor

if anything it's a good Sunday afternoon story...lazy hazy day when you have time to sit and relax with a good 'I wonder if'...
