Christopher, Temporal Entities of Syracuse has a booth at Scare-A-Con each year & I think we're going to try & do something more at RetroGameCon this year.

Neither are specifically steampunk, but they are close to you if you're in Oswego. :D

Hello all,

I'm a local author, Oswego, and am looking for some steampunk conventions or events here in upstate. I'm particularly looking for venues that migh be interested in my book or possibly as a speaker.

Fellow Upstaters--anyone going to World's Fair this year? I am looking for a ride; I can gain a room cheaply about 10 minutes away in a decent hotel/motel.I can either share gas or you can share the lodgings.

Under construction now: a walking machine for the Enchanted City Festival in Fall 2016 in Troy, NY.

Am I the last one standing?  Upstanding? Upstate standing?

Greeting, Doc Wiseman. Very nice to meet you.  I grew up on the likes of Wild, Wild, West as well. I fear there is no cure for your "affliction". Embrace your ills. What fun is it to be just like everyone else? Allow me to welcome you to the Aether. Please feel free to share pictures of your work.

Greetings fellow fan of the Aether. I'm not sure how we're defining "Upstate" but I suppose it's all relative. I am in New Windsor (Eastern Orange County) about half way between NYC and Albany. I have been into Steampunk for about twenty years but I was unaware of it. I am a raging history nut and as a result alternate histories are a passion as well. My favorite history period is from the Mid 19th to the Mid 20th Centuries, I am a long time fan of steam power and airships. I grew up on Wild Wild West on Saturday afternoons, Jules Verne novels, and Gaslight. It wasn't until about 10 years ago that my "affliction" was identified as Steampunk. I am a leather smith, a wood worker and jewelry maker. I also build miniatures and am a trained draftsman. I usually refer to myself as a frustrated artist. Looking forward to meeting some like minded people.

Greetings Upstate Steamies!

Frenchy and the Punk will be playing at BSP in Kingston on Thursday May 8th. We will be joined by ex-Abney Park multi-instrumentalist Nathaniel Johnstone and his band. Don't miss this close-to-home steampunk show!

Captain Rusty...........I'm interested but don't have a facebook page. If you get a chance drop me a message in my inbox  at either of the two SP sites I'm on regarding upcoming group events. I see what I can do to make it to them.
