Pine Hill is on NY Route 28, the main road between Oneonta (past Delhi, Andes, Margaretville, Pine Hill, Phoenicia, Boiceville, Olive, Hurley) and Kingston.  There is frequent inexpensive Trailways bus service to Pine Hill from Oneonta from the west, and Kingston to the east.  There is also a local Ulster Transit bus on the hour from Kingston to Pine Hill and back.

I'm not too far from Kingston, maybe it's not so out of the way for me.

Pine Hill is 35 miles or so from Kingston (exit 19 on the NYS Thruway)

Lt. Col - you'll note that good Captain Rice has added a Facebook group - Temporal Entities of Syracuse - hope you can join!

Where exactly is the pine hill ya'll are talking about? And I would love to see if we could get some interest in a Syracuse area meet up.

Hmm it's a bit out of the way for me, although it's not like I have other conceivable options.

Rusty, Gina, myself, Damon and Allie and a few others here, plus whoever you can get interested from up there to get things started. I think we can put the same crew we had for the Pine Hill Steampunk festival together pretty easy.  I'm going to contact the ladies and chappies in NYC and some of Jeff Mach's people from Jersey and see what we can do.  My number is 845 254 3344 if anyone who wants to be in on the planning wants to call

Chealsea,

This sounds good to me.......how many people can we get together ahead of time to build props, Foam padded weapons?, and maybe work out a simple rule system and familiarize people with how it works? I'm willing to help with working these things out, finding supplies, working out a system and prepping the people you can find for this.  As mentioned before I am working on an SP LARP rule system we may be able to use, and honestly this may be just the thing I need to help with getting it finished. The more people we can familiarize with the system before hand the better, as it will be easier to inform the last minute joiners.

By all means message me here at my inbox if you like, or at my personal Email. Keep in touch and count me in.

For those of the Empire interested in this endeavor contact me here or message me at my inbox on the site.

I'm one of the people who put on the Pine Hill Steampunk Festival.  I would like to have a small event in Pine Hill between now and next Oct.      I think a LARP treasure hunt in which each self created character (vampyres, airship captains, etc) search for the MacGuffin through various outdoor and indoor location while on the way being challenged by zombies, werewolves, revenuers, etc.
