Welcome All...!

To all of you welcome!
This is a new group dedicated to uniting Those into the Steampunk and/or Neo-Victorian lifestyles.
It is my fond hope that we may be able to organize outings and events for the membership but more importantly simply bring us together in a show of support!
Feel free to invite any and all friends you may think interested.
Cheers!

Hello everyone!

I was wondering who in our distinguished membership will be attending Thursday nights festivities? If possible I would like to meet up with the locals as I am not familiar with the area. Hope to see people on Thursday!

Just to let folks who may have heard about this know, the opening of the Chippewa Valley "Wild West Fest & Steampunk Emporium" originally scheduled for this year is being postponed until 2011, according to their website. http://www.festfun.com/?110310

Oh, dear, I'm seeing that on Friday evening we should have decided to make the drvie to Madison for the show rather than choosing not to. And how unfortunate that my husband and I have other obligations on the 17th... Well, there will be a "next time"!

In related news: We just got back from our rehearsal at Midway Village for the July 17th event. The organizers at Midway are happy to sell you tickets at the door, however, they are not sure how much food to prepare for the concessions. So if you are planning on attending, could you be so kind as to call 815-397-9112 or email Mark Herman at Mark.Herman@midwayvillage.com and let him know how many people will be coming with your party?

Thank you! It was an exceptionally good show, the organizers of Fireball rarely disappoint. I was particularly impressed with James the Magician and we will do our best to book him for a future SC led event.

I think it safe to say that there were none that attended the cabaret at the Majestic Theater last evening were disappointed. The best use of both 10 reichmarks and an evenings time one could hope for. Our thanks to the good Captain on making us aware of it, even if the Ashar dance company did warrant a remembrance of Bucharest that brought an arched brow to my dear traveling companion,
