An update on this saber, it sold for $75 at the Ottawa Geek Market, earlier this month.

Replaced the screws with screws hidden in brass nuts (from a 70s style light). Put a sink tail piece and slip joint nut on to hold it in place. Added a hanging light ring to the a** end, along with a candelabra brass cone. I put a plastic pull knob (from a ceiling fan), in the end where the laser pointer is.
