I've been wanting to be able to do things like that but the graphical software I have (Gimp) no longer has user defined color palates without some sort of scripting. That makes it difficult to adjust colors to match those of an antique photo. It has a sepia filter but whenI use that it always looks like a modern photo with a sepia filter applied instead of looking like an old photo.
