The soft rubbery plastic eye shield was primed with black spray paint, just like the rest of it was. That primer didn't dry. It stayed tacky forever. I eventually painted over the primer with Acrylic artist paint, the tacky still remained somwehat, even through the brown paint. Now, nearly a year later, it finally cured enough that the tacky feeling went away. So I added a second coat of brown paint, then clear coated it with AMACO all purpose sealer.

Did you paint them? if so what paint did you use? I've had less then favorable results when painting the soft plastic.
