Comment by Brody Ebersole on October 1, 2012 at 9:36am i am redesigning it! it will go the entire length of the swingarm and will have a 1/4 in gap down the profile so you can view the chain movement and on the top will hold around 20 or so shells in a belt feed style all the way into the frame. it should look as though i have a machine gun feed directly into the bike ;-) i'm in portlad at the art and soul art retreat so i will be doing the second version in a week or tow once i'm back at the Charmdimsur studio in Pa.
Three words:
"Inertial Slug Puller".
Rubber sleeves will keep the shells from vibrating/bouncing out.
Good Work.
Comment by Brody Ebersole on September 28, 2012 at 7:38pm yea.... when i was 13 i was trying to make a necklace out of a round so..... i decided drilling out what i now know is the primer was the least dangerous way of extracting the BANG part of my hopefully soon to be knecklace.... Drill.... Viceee...and about 15 seconds and then i was shocked by a deafening sound.. ran around the basement a few times and noticed my blood trail. a minute or two later i found the quarter size hole in my right forearm... a 13 year old+a pair of forceps+ shell casing shrapnel being dug out of his forearm lol. funny now... not funny then ;)
Spiffy! You know, you pull the primers and clean the shells out, you can glue in the slugs and add that sense of danger...Looks good either way, just wanted to mention the removal of the explodie stuff for hobbiest who don't quite get the way a bullet works. "I was just cleaning my xxxxxxx, next thing I knew my knee started leaking and my wife couldn't find her favorite toe!"
