There are many ways to say you're welcome in [French] and just like the English, language [les or le ] bienvenue [pronounced: bee en vuh noo ] could either be used to respond to someone else's (Sp) "thank-you" or it could be used to tell someone that they are "welcome" when they arrive...[For instance, when new members, join The Steam-punk Empire...my response would be... Bienvenue ! A.Clockwork.Doll...]
Therefore, in response to your question: J'appris à dire "tu es bienvenue;" est-ce que approprié ? Oh! oui, on using tu es bienvenue...Now, on the other hand, le bienvenue also translate into "the welcome" too!]
[Note: There are many ways to say welcome, in French and it really depends on the situation(s) and who you are responding to: For instance, Family members, friends, a person by gender(s), a group Of people, or acquaintances. ]
