"BTW wax is more historical, but then so is seal grease, and I don't recommend that one. If you just want to waterproof it functionally without the wax, a full can of scotchguard will do the job, but has to be replaced if you ever wash it. On…"

Welcome to the Empire, thank you for your friendship!

Profile Information

Introduction
Good day! Dabbling is a specialty of mine and indeed, I dabble often. Among those things that occupy my life, one may find music, reading, soccer, costumes, languages, video games, architecture, photography and a few others. I study Arabic and Economics and as I type I'm listening to the call to prayer from my room in Cairo while enjoying Joanna Newsom's marvelous lyrical talent.

I've always enjoyed a rather keen steampunk sensibility but have really just been drifting around in it by myself. I'm not sure why I never made an effort to find like-minded individuals. That being said, I'm glad I've found some!

I enjoy DIY projects, especially when it comes to sewing, costuming, gadgets, makeup, and gardening. Most of all, I enjoy exploring life and the wonderful mysteries it contains!
