Hi, I'm the PR person for Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. For our Steampunk event, need  steampunk family for a publicity photo at our train. Know anyone who makes steampunk a family affair?

Hi Guys, my Mom founded the Pink Ribbon Place out here in Riverside and she really needs more people to join her team for the walk

If you know of anyone who might be interested, anyone at all, please contact her at

p.s. If you want to come support in costume and do not have the $25 please just donate what you can, the $25 is really only a suggestion, but every single penny helps. You can also always donate more money it you wish ;)

Here is her message

To all of my  friends,

I’m taking part in "Pink on Parade" to raise money for Inland Agency's Pink Ribbon Place (Riverside's only Breast Cancer Resource Center) on Saturday morning, October 29th in Fairmount Park.  I plan to come in a Dickens costume, and am hoping to get at least a few more people to join me (so I don't feel quite so silly).  It's a good cause, a good chance to advertise our 2012 Festival, and a great opportunity to display your finery! (Steampunk themed costumes are very welcome - I plan to be a bit steampunkish myself!) The walk is an easy route of one or two miles (your choice) around the lake, and the weather should be very fine.

If you would like to join my team and walk with me, please visit my FirstGiving page:

There is a requested donation of $25 per person to walk.  You can donate online with a credit card, or bring cash or a check the day of the event.  Registration will open at 7:30 and the walk will begin at 9:00. All donations are secure and sent directly to The Pink Ribbon Place by FirstGiving, who will email you a printable record of your donation.

Please send my page on to anyone who might like to walk with us!
