Me and my new explorer bag, this was taken at StellarCon several months ago and I have been too busy to upload. This is a personally designed piece that I had made and it is without a doubt my shining achievement in my steampunk wardrobe. It…

Some armor I bought while at the convention the other week. It's all going into my new costume design that will hopefully be ready by Stellar-Con.

Stellar-Con 2011!

Good day! This is an announcement for those members in the NC area that Stellar-Con is coming around again this year! I was wondering who else will be attending. I am planning on donning some new bits and bobs in a new outfit along with a few members of my crew and was hoping to meet a few more SteamPunks from the state. So if you can afford the time; and the door fee for the weekend, please come join in our merriment!

I understand how that is... I also barter, if that's something you do. In any case, it's not like I'm going to stop making things, so no worries there! Thank you for the interest- I'm always flattered when someone likes my work.
Cheers,
Jaylee

Greetings, Captain!
Just a friendly note to let you know I've made more cufflinks (with more on the way), and they're available through my Etsy site here: http://northwykecreations.etsy.com
If you don't like those, I'm more than happy to make some custom cufflinks as well.
Cheers,
Jaylee

Thank you for the kind comments on my cufflinks, Captain! Unfortunately they are no longer for sale, but I am working hard to get more cufflinks made, and I will be sure to post photos and let you know when they're up. I sell all of my things on my Etsy webpage: http://northwykecreations.etsy.com

Oh, I could of guessed! I was just curious.

And have you tried thrift-stores? I mean, in general a lot of men's steampunk clothing is very similar to what people wear today. Just.. fanci-fied.

Yeah- I saw that on your profile. What exactly does computer science involve?

And the reason is mostly due to both cost and availability. Whereas it's easy to pick up Victorian-like clothing for men (vests, pants, and jackets can all be bought for pennies at the Thrift Store), I would have to go to greater length to get corsets, bodices, bustles, etc. I will be getting and/or making some soon, though, as I said~

Either fine arts or illustration, depending on which school I get into. I honestly can't wait to start.
