Well I've started on my first steampunk weapon. Actually it's a PAIR of Steampunk "energy" pistols. I'm going the easy route and instead of building them straight from scratch, I've started with some Banzai Water pistols (you can get them at Wal Mart, a 4-pack for $5). I was going to leave the water reservoir the original color and figure out some way to "energize" them with an LED or something. But the plastic was too flimsy.
