Profile Information

In a sky filled with grand sky ships, massive battle ships, cruisers, and pirate corvettes, one may not notice the small, unique frame of the FCS Avonlea.

She's a fast courier ship, light on her toes, fragile. She like a package toting ballerina.

I'm her Captain, A.C. Shaw. I've got a good crew, a talented wife, and if the winds are kinda, and easy job to do.

If you've got an important cargo, and you need it somewhere fast, you won't find a finer ship.

I'm Aron Beattiger, proud founder of the Bellingham Steampunk Society. I've been into steampunk for several years now, but only recently fully threw myself into the community.

I'm a long time roleplaying gamer, and love acting, I've been involved with my local LARP groups for a very long time, and the jump to steampunk felt very natural given its flair for the dramatic.

Despite the young status of my steampunk group we've had a good share of accomplishments. We put together an Abney Park show at our local museum of radio and electrical history. Held a festival in the name of our youngest member who passed away. We've even started to intergrate our historical district of Bellingham into the Steampunk culture.

I love meeting folks from the community. As a grand pile of producers of varying sorts, I love to see what folks are working on in their chosen medium.

Stay classy, steampunks!
-A.C. Shaw/Aron
