Profile Information

Introduction
Professor of Natural Philosophy. Current research project; exploring the temporal discontinuity between by front door and my vehicle, which routinely causes us to lose 5 to 15 minutes on any expedition.
A family story was that my impractical inventor grandfather (who passed away in the late 40's) invented a moving sign for blimps. I did a patent search and discovered he actually did hold patents for complicated light up signs in the 30's! No wonder I have such an affiity for lighter than air craft, (& overly complicated projects).

I believe I have found another piece in the puzzle of my grandfather, the eccentric inventor.
"Post-WWII, Goodyear purchased and converted six K-class airships including K-28, along with seven L-class airships, from the Government to resume its fleet operations. Renamed the "Puritan," it became the prototype to test a programmable light display system to be used to display advertising." -collection of the New England Air Museum

I honestly have no idea where Columbia,MD is. Anything beyond like Rockville/Kensington,Bmore or Frederick...I have no clue.

Well my daughter is 3 so Im just starting to throw around the idea of taking her to outings with me. In fact,I have already book marked "summer outfits" for her on etsy.com. I just need to find the proper shoes and probably learn how to make spats for her. I want her dresses in very proper Victorian...haha.

Hope this finds you well!
