Profile Information

Introduction
Auntie Social (alias Singleton) is a genial sociopath and chief lieutenant of the Shankhill Butchers, a gang of villains operating in and around the city of Cowford in Northeast Florida.

Auntie is an American expatriate who cannot legally return to the States because of her possible involvement in the suspicious death of a prominent Cowford citizen. Following the incident, Auntie fled to England ahead of the law and fell in with the Shankhill Butchers shortly upon arrival. Being an industrious sort, she "worked" her way up through the ranks to become Molly Starks' (aka The Boss) right hand.

In spite of the danger of arrest if identified, Auntie returned stateside when the Butchers "emigrated" after a daring escape from a prison hulk on the Thames. Auntie's connections with the local Cracker inhabitants and the Seminole tribes of North Florida afford the Butchers both necessary protection from the Cowford authorities and the manpower to run the legitimate side of their business, the Shankhill Butchers Cattle Company, Ltd.

Auntie is a dead shot but prefers the "intimacy" of hatchets, knives and icepicks. She has a penchant for mechanical insects, both large and small. Reputedly, she also has two mechanical doppelgängers, Auntie Bellum and Auntie Macassar, whose movements and actions she seems to direct remotely. It is uncertain as to how she achieves this. (NOTE: Some speculate that these are nothing more than disguises as none of the three are ever seen together at the same time.)

In some instances, Auntie is known to employ the services of a small but deadly cadre of assassins known as Young Cowford. Chief among these young mercenaries are her favorite "niece and nephew", Sybil Baskerville and Conrad Wilhelm Soldier III.

Auntie is obsessed with the recovery of a meteorite that fell in neighboring Clark's Ferry. She feels the Butchers have first rights to the falling star as that area lies in their territory. Said meteorite was on display at the recent Sub-Tropical Exhibition in Cowford but has since disappeared. Auntie generally blames the disappearance on her erstwhile nemesis, former Mayor Angus Beggley.

Under the alias of Singleton, Auntie captains the airship Rattlesnake, the sister ship to the Revenant which is owned and piloted by another member of the Butchers, one Sophia Lancaster (aka The Enforcer.)

Relevant Events: Great St. Johns River Fire, White Sulphur Springs Train Robbery, Assault on the Mayor's Office, Kidnapping of Stella Luna, Theft of a Dirigible, and multiple attempts on the life of former Mayor Angus Beggley.

Related Personas: The Boss or Molly Starks, The Enforcer or Sophia Lancaster, Abigail Vandenberg, and Prof. Malvinia A. Lightfoot.

Thank you for the information!  I will be attending the Battle of Olustee weekend on Saturday, so have spent time making a Civil War get-up that I have not had time to work on a Steampunk.  But I will see if I can throw anything together for this event.  Thanks, ever so!

Dear Auntie; How many members of the Chamber of Commerce? I want to make sure I made enough pins. Also, what is the name of the junk and stuff emporium that was mentioned as a source of interesting parts for projects?

Looking forward to the gathering this Saturday.

Hey! So glad to hear from you! :) Aww, thank you so much for thinking of me! I'm working on something for you but it hasn't turned out the way I wanted it to yet, so unfortunately it won't be ready by this meeting, but hopefully by the next. I'm looking forward to this Sunday, I can't wait to see what everyone made! I made a steampunk rocket!

See you soon! Take care.
