- An avid lover of character and costume, games and adventures, I may build a pleasure palace with the wild scadians one summer, then dive beneath the waves the next.
Arising from the wild merriment and mad architecture of the Bardicci clan, I escaped to pursue interests far too technical to describe. I married into the Gearheart family, who made their fortune in bringing the telegraph to ordinary people. Now, they are casual adventurers, seeking the joys of shipwrecks, skidding about mountain tops, and acquiring machines of great power, beauty and utility.

Well it was my sister's wedding so I had but no choice but to do it. As a professional chef I am the only one with that sort of event experience and what began as being in charge of the food led to being in charge of the hall which led to being in charge of the grounds and the entertainment.
But still, it was splendid weather, and I have had so few chances to dress up.
