Greetings my new friends!
I am Oliver Frasier. Retired Captain of, His Ministers Airship, Lion of the Abyss, from the Territorial Wisconsin Alliance. After serving in several branches of military in three different country's, I now spend my days based from my home in South East Wisconsin seeking more adventures like those of my wayward youth in as exotic locations as I can manage.
I do hope to make the acquaintance of many a new person here!
In my mundane life I have been a re-enactor and living historian since 1987and have worked at two prominent museums and a member of the board of directors of a county museum.
I have been delighted by turn of the century (the last century) inventions since I was a child and an avid reader of vintage speculative fiction.
With all of that in my history Neo-Victorian/Steampunk was a natural step for me to take.
I look forward to some interesting and exciting discourse!
I just looked at the Facebook page you suggested, and to my delight saw the name Tim Vick, who I will say ... is one of my favorite persons EVER!! So happy to put two and two together and regain a friend. :)
Greetings Captain! I just stopped by to say hello on my way through here. Are you still thinking about going to the Wabeno Steam Up Days this coming weekend? I will be there if we have a slow weekend of service calls. I have no one to fill in for me this weekend, so I can only hope for a slow day at work so that I might attend the festivities.
