Would you drive a SteamPunk car?

With what seems to me to be some surprisingly good deals on antique and reproduction pre-WW II automobiles - would you drive an antique car regularly? Quite a few antique cars are selling for less than $10,000.00 but hold their values a lot better than a new or recent vintage used car.…See More

The jacket in my profile picture is not mine. I found it and thought it looked like something that would be very cool for a costume some day. One day, I might make one just like it. Thank you for the comment, good sir.

Thank You very much for the invitation to join, Captain.  Unfortunately, I live in Anchorage, and not in Fairbanks, so I would be unable to reach any meetings that the Queen's Arctic Expeditionary League would plan if I so choose to join.  Otherwise, I would humbly accept the invitation.

Sincerely,

Coal Furnison, S.G.

Thank you Captain for the recent activity in the NACA. This is exactly the type of dialogue and information sharing for which the NACA is intended. I am currently exploring Thermal Airships. I need to encourage more activity within the association by regularly posting bits of the massive amount of pictures and information I have gathered on Airships. I am peripherally familiar with the many and fantastic Aeroplanes and Airships operating on the frontier in Alaska. Nice Piper Cherokee you have there, love the aluminum skin... haven't flown in a 160 since I was young.

Clear Skies to you Sir, and Favorable Winds...

I don't know them but I'll definitely look them up. I've heard something about the Highland Games have a SP day but I'm fuzzy on the details. I'm trying to build up connections with other like minds due to the fact that to my knowlage I'm the only SP in my immediate area.
