Chicago Land Film Spots

I am working on a few short films with several different settings. I was looking to see if anyone had any ideas for some specific style of locations or just plain good steampunky locations to film in the greater Chicago land area. For this first short we are looking for a traditional bar setting and anything that might resemble a captains quarters on an inside of a ship. Would anybody have any suggestions? Right now we are at a whopping no budget but are looking to change that. Thanks all.See More

"Spats or gators? I ask this question because the term gets confused sometimes. Spats go over the shoe but under the pants from my understanding and Gators go over both. For gators you can go to a military surplus for spats you can find…"
