I collect antiques, raise rabbits, and love on puppy dogs.
PERSONA - What everyone knows.
"Sarissa Parker, window of the late Mr. Andrew Parker, is a lady of former leisure who does her best to live up to the standards she was accustomed to before her husband's demise.
Sir Harper was a shrewd older gentleman, eccentric as much as he was round and balding, with a smell that made her sensitive nose addicted to fine perfumes. He kept his wife locked in their house, with maids and other servants doing the chores that kept even a refined housewife busy. She lacked many domestic skills attributed to her gender, save for organization and some embroidery. With her husband gone much of their assets were revealed to be lost as well, leaving her without the same servants that kept her in true, though boring leisure. Now she contends with trying to fend with herself. Fashionable on her budget, she keeps her En Mourning attire nearly intact --- for she cannot afforrd the expense of replacing her lifeless wardrobe of quality with one of colour that lacks everything else. And yet there is more to her still...
Known in lessening anonimity as the Clockworkrabbit to andventurers, pioneers, inventors, and imagineers. The name came from the small pet rabbit her husband allowed her to keep, and her obsession with the art of clocks; something her late husband didn't allow, for he hated the sound of constant ticking. In secrecy she penned men and some women that were out in the world in ways she could not, telling them not of herself but of her curiosity. With Andrew's passing she began to venture out, keeping the chaste company of men as her escort to the world and joining their adventures. In exchange she is a friend, pupil, guide, and advisor. Her one constant companion is a sweet little dog, of the same breed favoured by the Queen of England, and named Victoria in that honour.
Yet, is even that her simple story? No, alas, it is not.
Get to know her better on any adveture and you may find out.
She has obsessions with rabbits, fine hard-working corsets, suede leather, fine mourning accessories, umbrellas & parasols, and wearing gentlemen's tophats."

"She is a mistress of small white lies, dressed in black. These lies are the vehicle that enable her to seek out adventures and their adventuerers. Behind those lies she was never the wife of a wealthy husband, nor was her husband round and balding. In fact, he isn't even dead. Her secret is that he is alive and well, working diligently as a Mortician back home. He is tall and too skinny to be a respectable gentleman, and he never treats his wife like one. He loves her dearly, however, his love could never keep her entertained. They afforded one maid and one butler, the later worked only part-time. She was still a house-wife with much to be desired So, the only way she truly helped out their household was to provide herself as a professional mourner to their customers. One day she walked out and all presume she will return when her lust for the new is satisfied."

Many years ago, I created the first steampunk community forum for western Pennsylvania here at the Steampunk Empire. Time and tide seem to be conspiring to have me resurrect that. So I am sending out this invitation to all those in the area to join the Allegheny Steam Concordance and/or on Facebook so that we can build a genuine steampunk community in the region.
Good day to you good madam. I, as well, hail from Pittsburgh and would certainly like to organize a network of those who share our Steam interests. I am reaching out to all the members of our area in the hopes of organizing. If you are interested, please enlist and sign the airship's articles.Crewe of the LoyalCoin
