- I'm a student of English literature who is obsessed with Victorian culture and literature, and by extension; Steampunk. This past Halloween I was in Salem and had the opportunity to run into a few other aficionados of Steam who were kind enough to direct me to this website.

A curious thing to mention is the fact that, while a small and formidable crew, none of us feel the inclination of designating a Captain. Surely, as owner and proprietor of the vessel in question, one may assume such a title bestowed upon me. Such is not the case. My birth name is Vincent, Count Emmett being a product of a curious little Steampunk Name Generator, and Logsdon being the name of an ancestor. I'm 25, and a 5th year senior at the University of Akron as an English Literature Major and Popular Literature and Film minor.
