We're all Steampunks here, of course, lovers of the genre for the aesthetic or the literature or the inspiration to lovingly craft our own products. And so none of us want to see it fade away, of…Continue

Many thanks for your invitation and welcome to my network!
All the very best from Madrid :)
Sophia Cardea said… Likewise, good to meet in person. Well, sir, a lady has to own more than one outfit, as occassion demands! I wish you success and prosperity with your book. There were far too many temptations at the event (especially as I was there trading) but I held firm. Now my wishlist is about twice as long. I'm curious about your book...maybe one day (I do love a good story).
The Captain of The Brontide said… I had a brilliant time! I went to the fashion show on Friday and to the actual event on Saturday. I've never had so many cameras pointed in my direction before, it was quite a strange experience! Then again, so was Robert Rankin miss-reading my handwriting and saying I'd "made a medical change to cancer" XD
Did you enjoy the the Asylum?
Sophia Cardea said… The Navigatrix and her brother shop Arcane Armoury will indeed be at Weekend at the Asylum on the 8th & 9th of September, sharing a market stall right outside Lincoln Castle entrance! Do stop by and browse our wares. Find us on Facebook for sneak peeks of exciting new items that will be available! (Feel free to roleplay at us, we're seasoned LRPers and can improvise on the spot if occassion demands ;)
Greetings from the Antipodes. We are currently in the process of organising Aether & Iron at Auckland's Museum of Transport & Technology where I'm a volunteer at the Rail Section. Last year's event saw about 300 Steampunks in costume. I'd certainly be interested in seeing your book. Good luck with it
Sophia Cardea said… Hi Craig,
Thanks for the compliment! Now, as for the Lincoln weekend...you'll have to enlighten me. I've been a LRPer for years but only recently got into Steampunk. So, where, when and all the rest, please!
Do go and have a look at my brother's site Arcane Armoury . He's gradually filling it up and is happy to take custom orders (whereas I don't because I make things out of remnants, odd finds and bits 'n' bobs!) Use the code STEAMPUNKERS in my shop to get 11% off.
Thanks for your interest :)
