Mam, you seem to be fitting right in here, if you ever wish for some pleasant company, a drink or two, and a good belly laugh, do drop by the Accepted Cog Saloon, it is a fun place to post a comment or two.

Yes, it is an interesting mix, a love of coal powered steam punk, and an environmental ethos in real life...... When I first joined, I believed the steam punk movement was a real steampowered technology community, and was concerned about its influence on the environment. I was swiftly guided to the fact this is all fiction, and if you wished, the destroying effects of coal could get written out of your steampunk view. Happy day indeed, if only life was so forgiving! good to have more like minds here!

Oh. *swoons* you had me at thrifter, but then added permaculture, I fell over, then you added tea and time travel and the old ticker gave the boot.

However, mam, to introduce an esteemed lady such as yourself to the Empire, I shall gladly reincarnate, and give you a most hearty hand shake, and even be so bold as to kiss your hand.

Whilst visiting here, you may like to check out the Antipodean Society for all steampunkers South of the Hemisphere. I feel our numbers are swelling enough we may soon be able to inflate our various balloons and pull our fair island continent from the sea bed, then launch volleys of water balloons at our over seas compatriots!

Hello all

As I already have a bog, I shall just, or mainly post when I have posted if that is acceptable.

If you wish to read my ramblings, which at present include my resarch on Victorian fashion, my last post was on riding habits, and can be found here:
