Hello, my name is Deirdre. I am a librarian at The Floating Library, which hovers above New York City generally, but has been known to travel greater distances.
Like many others, I have been interested in Victoriana and other realms of the fantastic since childhood (especially gothic novels such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and Wuthering Heights), and only recently realized how many possibilities there are for expanding my interests beyond my own library.
