Profile Information

Thea’s history is somewhat heartbreaking; however she wouldn’t be who she is today. Thea is a demon-hunter; however one cannot hunt demons simply on a whim. In order to detect, track, smell, sense and ultimately kill a demon, one must pay the premium price: one’s soul. The “keeper” (we’ll call him that) is in the service of God, however he serves as the one beyond the grace of God as a redeemer. In the process, he finds unfortunate souls, those on the brink of death, and provides the option of joining his legion. The reward: He ascends, while you regain your mortality, if you can live through the deal.
This is where Thea’s story begins. She was raised as a hunter’s daughter, her father hunted to sustain both her and himself. He also sold the pelts for currency. They lived happily until they settled down in an area not yet claimed by anyone; however the inhabitants weren’t too fond of outsiders. One night, 6 men came to Thea’s encampment and slayed her father right before her eyes. The men proceeded to engorge themselves with his flesh. Thea sat still, not blinking or moving a muscle, until they finished. These weren’t men; they were beings from below, otherworldly abominations in the eyes of God. Hellspeak deafened her ears, as Thea tried to make sense of what was said.
Until… they began to approach her.
The last thing Thea remembers before all 6 beings overshadowed the campfire was the feeling of burning, and broken bones, of blood caked upon her brow and groin. She was utterly shattered and left for dead.
As the embers of the campfire began to die, the stench of rotting flesh filling the air, and daybreak just below the horizon…. he came.
He calls himself the “keeper”. Clad in only a simple suit/tunic, and pointy black hat, pale skin, lucid smirk of content and shaded glasses. He offered her a chance at life anew, if she decided to join him. He offered her a chance to seek and destroy those who killed her father, and nearly killed her. He offered her to gain ultimate power, and a chance to help those who have fallen in the same situation.
For a price. She must be cast into the inferno for a century, only rising again in her grave. She will not age, she will not feel love, she will not cry; for all of these things were burned as she fell into the deep abyss.
She nods in acceptance. And as the ground began to split open beneath her, the keeper stood up and leaned towards her, muttering a single word. “Thea”.
And she fell.

Hello Dee. Charmed to make your acquaintance. Are you a fashion designer? I do like your style! Tumwater is a pace away from Port Townsend, but perhaps we may actually meet at some event. Until we chat again, Milicent Kohl
