At this point, I feel it important to remind my readers the reasons for the omission of certain names opposed to the inclusion of others. During my time in the employ of the Military, I made quite a few friends and enemies. However, the means by which I left my employ have left myself in considerable amount of danger. This is why I do not include my original name in any of these writings.

Although I had been to the ship yards many times previously, I found myself in awe of them for perhaps the first time. I could tell the Doctor was likewise amazed. The ship yards were, for the most part, hidden from the rest of the city. A large wall had been erected around them as a form of controlling entrance. By what the soldier had told us, it also seemed as though some control had been placed on exiting as well.

We set to the task of creating the charging station and contact plates with a powerful motivation. The good doctor’s expertise was far from the electronic or mechanical, but his eagerness to learn fueled him. The length of time that it took to create the items was filled with conversation.
