11% Elegant, 41% Technological, 17% Historical, 48% Adventurous and 71% Playful!

You are the Ragamuffin, the embodiment of steampunk playfulness. Chances are, you approach the genre from a much more casual and lighthearted standpoint than most other fans. To you, there is always an element of play inherent in the genre, and you may very well enjoy fashion as much for the opportunity to dress up as for the style itself. You probably wear goggles as an accessory, and rarely as actual eye-protection. Your outfits are likely to incorporate a lot of brown or cream, and combine large boots, Victorian corsets or vests, aviator caps or bowler hats, and gypsy skirts or slacks, simply because you like them all.

That all made perfect sense! I have investigated the things you mentioned further, and like what I see. I have collected gypsy music from various faires, festivals and fetes that I have attended. I love the passion and joy they play with when it is done right. A spontaneous freedom that is accompanied by the emotion that the song portrays. It is beautiful. One favorite is Gypsophilia. MmmMmm, good!
I did find some others that may fit that bill. I will list them here, and you may find some of them in my play list on my page. Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band has the feel of a small, free form marching band, which is gypsy is spirit. Live they were quite fun, and a crowd pleaser. The Kreptatka Bar band definitely fits the bill I think. I did not get to see them, but was lucky enough to be gifted with a free sampler CD of theirs.
Please do not hesitate to ask for help if I can be of assistance.

I was at AetherFest most of Saturday afternoon (includes a long stint in the Pub trying to get food).
Sorry that I did not get to meet you. Maybe next time. Will you be at A-Kon?
All the Best,
. ADC
