For two days in May, the beautiful and historic city of Waltham, Massachusetts will throw open its doors to the world! The Watch City Festival is a living exhibit to the artistic and cultural movement of steampunk that fuses old-fashioned style with modern-day technology. Enjoy special events all throughout the city, dine in restaurants offering specials to all adventurers, watch Steampunk films at the local cinema, see Steampunk theater, explore amusement everywhere, interact with all manner of performers and actors and dramatis personae, attend a ball, and see art and Steampunk creations from around the world!The Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation, which has hosted a series of exhibitions called “Steampunk: Form and Function,” is the host of the weekend.
