Introduction
Greetings! My name is Miss Jaylee A. Faulkes, I am a purveyor of fine baubles made from antique watch and clock parts. Here, I give antique watches a new lease on life in the form of handmade jewelry and accessory pieces. ** The watch parts all are gently harvested from deceased antique mechanical watches, dating anywhere between 1750 and 1925. I mostly favor American and British-made watches, as this is when their designs seem to be their most lavish- lots of engraving, with special attention to detail. I can appreciate good craftsmanship, and I am sure you can too. With beautiful watches like those, they deserve a new lease on life!

I put hours of work and great care into each piece, which is one of a kind. This is my art.

I am taking my time developing my inventory of handmade earrings, pendants and brooches, so what you see in the photos is all I have as of yet; but I do take commission, so requests are welcome! I always enjoy a good challenge. I also enjoy bartering, so if I have a bauble you would like, perhaps we can work out a deal!

You can contact me here, or find my creations for sale on my Etsy page, http://northwykecreations.etsy.com

Sadly I did not know about your contest till today I would have attempted to enter but I am if nothing else never brief in my stories so it would have been a real challange to write something under 500 words. Maybe next time.
