Profile Information

Introduction
Gumby Alexander is a time travelling kraken hunter. His interest in the be-tentacled beasties started as a child. When travelling in a steamship off the coast of Norway with his famous scientist father, Sir Bernard Alexander, he caught a glimpse of the beast. He began to obsessively search the world for the cryptozoological octopus. Once, in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, he believes he may have tagged one of the eldritch creatures. To test his theory of regarding their very long life cycle and periodic migration to fresh water, he borrowed his father's time machine and landed in our epoch. He has recently been found hunting for the tagged kraken in the Bonnechere River watershed. To our benefit this really swell guy has made Raven's Knoll his base of operations for his forays and sometimes helps out around the property. To support himself he has taken a job in Ottawa as a building superintendent and has trained a very small companion dog to identify the ammoniac aroma of the tentacled depth
Science is not an occult enterprise like alchemy. It's not for nobles and royals in their palaces, nor for monks in their cathedrals. Science is neither faith nor sorcery, it is provable fact that can transfigure and transform us at our very core! All the suffering of humanity, the ages of misery and darkness, science can change that. But what use is it if we don't bring its power to everyone? Mankind everywhere is in desperate need... they are waiting for the blessings of science!!.
