Profile Information

Introduction
Okay, let's keep this brief...
I:
-am a writer/artist preparing to release a steampunk-themed graphic novel.
-dress the part whenever it's practical.
-make most of my own equipment/clothing/kit.
-buy just about everything else from "etsy.com".
-transitioned into steampunk from goth several years ago after many failed attempts to meld the Victorian and Rivethead looks.
-adore Vernian Process, Abney Park, Rasputina, Emilie Autumn, Beats Antique, Circus Contraption, Voltaire, Creature Feature, Tin Hat Trio, Dr. Steel, The Dresden Dolls, The Tiger Lillies, and Tom Waits.
-run with a ragtag little group of artists, visionaries, intellectuals, and scientists known as the Bohemian Embassy.
-am delighted to be here.

I feel inclined to share a few quotes from my upcoming graphic novel, "To: Helena Handbasket". I hope this conjures a laugh or two. Enjoy!

"Many cases of zombification have been misdiagnosed as advanced scurvy, and frankly, I didn't feel much like wasting my time lobbing oranges at the man."

-Captain Nomad, when asked why he shot and killed a perfectly good engineer.

"Don’t fire until you see the whites of their braziers, lads!”

Absolutely! Dear One, come and join us! We're only a couple of months old and finding our feet. You would be so very welcome. There's a lot to explore at Scribblerati, and yet more to create.

I'm so impressed by your designs for the Empire! And more than a little jealous you aren't a member of Scribblerati, the social network for writers and illustrators I founded. I could sorely use your talent.
