- I have loved Steampunk fiction for years now. Love the intricate details that were put into every day items from the Victorian era. I am currently working on some props and clothing for my Steampunk "persona"; "The Duke of Dragonshire". (Yes, I promoted myself for those of you who noticed) This profile photo was simply one of those old time photo places. However the beard and mustache is all mine! (one other bit of into... this photo had my ex-wife in it.. I photoshopped her out, completely, :D which took some doing, as part of her and her dress, covered my shoulder and left side.)
I have the privilege of being put in charge of a Steampunk Con. It's actually 1/5th of an "all con" as it is called, that will happen Nov 2013. There are 5 major themes, Renn Faire, Anime, Sci Fi, Comics, and Finally... Steampunk. Pay one ticket get access to all five sections. I am developing the Steampunk section. It will take place in the Southwest Missouri area, presumably in Springfield MO. All those interested, please do not hesitate to contact me.
