Also, since most conventions don't allow any kind of projectile, I plan to use CO2 cartridges mostly for looks, but also for the "hiss" sound effect."

Shooting a spray of CO2 is a cool concept, but will get you kicked out of most conventions and events."

I have an aluminum bar I'm going to try turning into a palm (like the original spidey) trigger, but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing that just yet.
