- Even if you're long in the tooth, you can still think that Steampunk is the coolest thing to come along in ages. Love Abney Park and the synthesis of Victorian English & futuristic design. What FUN!

Yes, putting together an outfit that represents what you feel towards the genre and yourself can be difficult and daunting. I'm still working on getting all the little details for mine and it's been almost a year now. I have an Euro-African-Asian mix in my outfit. Basically my attire is an amalgam of my persona's history.
I lived in the Aurora/Denver area for a year and over two years in Colo Springs. Loved both places and would move back if I got the chance.
Good luck with the outfitting. Hope to see you sometime at a con in the nearby area.

- I’m afraid I haven’t perused any of the works of Octavia Butler, but I am an avid SciFi reader and shall seek her out on your sage recommendation, my good lady. I am at the end of re-reading The Worthing Saga by Orson Scott Card & am eyeballing Fatal Revenant by Stephen R. Donaldson for yet another good re-read in hopes of sparking my own elusive muse…but perhaps a change of pace could be in order; Octavia E. Butler could be just the medicine I need to overcome the writer’s block I have been trying to shake off of late.
