Hello Steampunk Empire citizens!
I'm a history and handcraft lover who can spin, knit, crochet and much more. I like particularly to knit and crochet inspired by original patterns from 1800's to 1920, which took me to the steampunk universe.
My threads may not be made of metal or work with steam power but they make beautiful neo-victorian accessories.
I love the photos of your work! I stumbled on your medieval re-creation images and those are beautiful as well (I do some re-creation here in the States). I can't wait to see what you do next.
Welcome here good lady, sometimes various comments seem to indicate that this realm is hostile or exclusive, however this has not been my experience either on the local level or at large. While people are passionate as to their predilections, and puns are often posted (visually and written), this rarely evolves into puerile pot shots or if so usually dissolves rather rapidly.
In regard to your comment on the unique approach that you apply to your dress that is unappreciated in your environs, take heart, you never know who is silently emboldened by your individual attire, that child from a distance... or one delighting from the inside.
