Amy Panda said… - It's pretty easy to adapt clothes you have. If you have a long full skirt for example, you can tack it up with a few stitches in the front to make the raised ruffle, or draping and tacking lengths of material can make a quick bustle.

Yes Larissa, I Make my own stuff. I"m plus size,and not very rich, so most the time it's the only way to go. I also plan on making stuff to sell online or at some of the events. You should check out http://internationalsteampunkcity.com/
It;s an event in waltham in may. Also, if you join the group Boston Steampunk on here then you'll find more of the local meets and greets and such.
