BuddhaAlex said… o.o somehow the Finnegan Fun Machine sounds just... I... don't...
awesome and wrong? Please tell me you don't call it that in public?
BuddhaAlex said… If I drink too much, all that happens is I fall asleep. I'm told its adorable. As I'm asleep, I don't really have an opinion, myself.
BuddhaAlex said… o.O Does being Irish *help* or hinder the ability to seduce anything that moves? Just askin' an expert. :D Being of Scots/German decent myself, I can tell you that the German tendency to sarcasm doesn't help and Scottish ability to hold terrifying amounts of liquor does help. Sortof. Is that like a superpower -- "Becomes Irish with Whiskey" -- If you added MORE whiskey, would you turn into a Leprechaun?
BuddhaAlex said… The thing about GenCon is that it has pubs, or rather, the area around GenCon has pubs! Where one can play roll-playing pub games! The appeal of people trying to roll dice and stay in character while absolutely noodly amuses me. Perhaps not so much for you...
BuddhaAlex said… not entirely certain Persuasion/deception works on a clank, but HEY! As your GM for this post, I give you free reign to convince the clank it is actually a fluffy bunny and thus incapable of squishing you flat with its enormous stick-of-womping, through mad skillz of elocution. Go for it. I will just sit back and grin alot. Also, all of the games sound interesting. Do you ever make it down to GenCon? (It is lurking in Indiana, if you are unaware, and is one of the largest table-top gaming cons. Also, its filled with awesome)
BuddhaAlex said… Hmmmm. I've played a little 7th Sea, and have loved Star Wars all my live -- allthough I've never played the actual RP game ^.^ just dressed the part and done LARP Star Wars with friends back in Ye Olde High School days. Loved Buffy -- should really look up the system, it sounds fun! As for me, I'm most fond of Shadowrun -- best gamingexperienceI ever had, best circle of gamers wreaking the most possible havok, and laughing the hardest. We had a single band of merry adventurers that stayed active for nearly four years running. At least once a week. Awesome. I've also had fun with D&D and the like. At the moment, everyone is frantically busy with other projects, so there aren't any games being run in my area. I miss it. You? Currently playing anything? And what was your initiative roll, anyway? I need to figure out if the Gypsy-made clank goes first with its club, or if you do. What are you wielding, anyway? Other than Charisma...
