- New to the Steampunk world, but really excited to get more involved and get to know the people in the community. My interest in Steampunk developed through the development of a fantasy novel that I have been working on for several years. Through the course of many changes, I eventually transitioned the time period and base genre from "fantasy" to "steampunk" (with a few twists). Now I'm eager to get more involved and learn more about the style and genre.
