Profile Information

Introduction
I am Mad Alice
You all knew what happened when that 'fraud' fell down the hole in her backyard. Well, I'm her reality and all grown up. I'm still confused from time to time, and I suppose you'd feel the same way if you awoke and found yourself with a clockwork heart and brass for brains. But, we all do the best we can.
1. I avoid holes at all costs.
2. I love airships and steam-ships.
3. I know the reality of an upside down world.

Half-Dollar Dreadful 4

*Firstly, I MUST apologize for my last drunken blog post...sometimes that simply just happens.*

One balmy day, at the State Fair, I was entranced by a sight hovering and blowing in front of my eyes. It was nothing less than an original net-covered dirigible. I had to immediately buy a very over-priced ticket... and then another, and another. Until the poor operator agreed to show me how to rudimently operate the golden dinosaur. I spent the rest of the lovely afternoon, transporting… Continue

Half-Dollar Dreadful - 3

Let me begin this evening, by saying I'm a bit tipsy. However, it was time for another bog entry and the dreadfulness keeps a'comin. I met some truly wonderful people on another site, who I've persuaded to join here thus far and am working on others. Others, are no matter where I go to get away, still persistantly around. What an odd world, when some best friends can become vile enemies. It will never make any sense to me, however, if that's how the others' want it, who am I to… Continue

Half-Dollar Dreadful 2

I began my entrance into the world of steam when I was little. Venturing into the worlds of Jules Verne, Allan Moore, and Orson Wells, were truly my escapes. I watched movies that were steamy, from Labrynth, to Dark Crystal. As I grew older, I didn't know what "steampunk" was, until I constructed my alter ego on the aethernet. I needed assistance with a project I was constructing. I was at odds with an old console television set, which I wanted to and attempted to place an aquarium in. It… Continue

Half-Dollar Dreadful - 1

Let me first, dear readers, express that the horrible events that follow are all verily true. How could something so terrible, and frightfully exciting be else? If naught else is to be learned from the vain, and careless adventuring of your narrator, let it be caution. Keep your confidences close and your heart closer.

It is true that the aether is a wonderous place, full of delightful beings. Clockwork cogsmen, steam minions, and both men and women of eccentricities most strange inhabit… Continue
