I must admit I find it facinating that so many people shy from my profession. What could be more rewarding than searching the globe in the name of science? I could tell you stories of lost cities, ancient curses, and primeaval powers lurking deep beneath the pitiful veneered surface of your concept of existance.What? Im sure you know what I mean, we are all pawns of the darkness below... its true, HOW DARE YOU SCOFF! I have seen them,twisted forms of what might have once been men screaming to the darkness in the night. Wait, I know *yanks the sheet off the table to reveal a corpse of what appears to be some scaly maybe once human fish hybrid creature* See! I told you so, NO! dont go, no one believes me....those fools in their ivory academic towers wouldnt even listen... but, its ok, I have heard their song and even now the Ancient Master calls to me, listen,... such an inviting maddening song...Oh, Im sorry, I do apologize where were we, oh, yes my grant funding.
