Introduction
No time at the moment to write a proper introduction. So I will just share this with you. Music is my speciality and this is how I add value.

I have a steampunk music page on last.fm and you may play the music there over the aether-network. I find that the library I have accumulated there works well as background music. Something with clockwork and steam that you can listen to whilst reading (or writing) your latest airship pirate adventure. Since there is a lot of instrumental music I find that it also works well as background music for working on clockwork or steam-powered contraptions.

If you are a musician, you may find the library a good listen. Possibly something to help get you in the mood for writing your next Steampunk opus. Finally, If you do none of these things, but you like Steampunk music, Dark Cabaret, Cirque Musique, with a little Dark Ambient, Dark Wave and Neo-Victorian Industrial amd Dieselpunk thrown in, then you may still enjoy it.

http://www.last.fm/user/NewVictorians

I have also recently added a MySpace page. With the intent of featuring as many Steampunk (and Dieselpunk) artists as I can find. It is my way of helping to promote the sounds of Steampunk.

James Watt, FRS, FRSE (19 January 1736 – 25 August 1819) was a Scottish inventor and mechanical engineer whose improvements to the Newcomen steam engine were fundamental to the changes brought by the Industrial Revolution in both the Kingdom of Great Britain and the world.

The term repeller was adopted to differentiate between a wind turbine's rotor and a propeller. Propeller originates from Latin term propellere which means to move something forward. Since a propeller makes air move and by doing that produces propulsion, the term applies well. Repeller originates from Latin term repellere which means to repel. Since a repeller does not truly repel wind, but converts wind power into mechanical motion, the term is less appropriate to characterize what a repeller does. Therefore, some people claim that wind power converter is more suitable than repeller regarding wind turbine rotors.
