- I didn't know about steampunk until this year even though I have carried a pocket watch since I was 16 and have been wearing Victorian era style clothes in my every day life for the past ten years. I have been the senior men's patternmaker for the San Francisco Opera Costume Shop for almost thirty years and I now have my own website to make custom clothes for fellow travellers. All my work is made to measure as my forte is creating patterns for those whose body shape is not "off the rack". I find no body hard to fit. Leatherwork of all periods my speciality. I am very pleased to announce that there will be a gathering of your fellow steampunk partakers at Bridge Street Mall and Merchantile Plaza in Huntsville at 3:00 so as to avoid the perilous heat.
We shall perambulate and pose then eat and shop! Also The famous Lady D will be there debuting an absolutely divine new ensemble custom designed and crafted by Matthew Nash of Timeless Tailor of San Francisco, CA.

Good to hear from you. Actually Kratzer is my character's name. Born in 1487, he was a scientist & royal clockmaker at the court of Henry VIII. In my alt-universe he also invented a time machine. So what are you up to?
