I prefer bowlers for casual dress but I think a tall Wellington style (flared top) tophat in gray or black would look great with that jacket ! Maybe medium gray with a black band to match the ....shorts(?) and boots. The tall hat shows off the goggles well and everybody likes tall girls made even taller. Are you planning to make the outfit yourself, alter existing clothing or buy ready made?
Are you adding epaullettes to the shoulders too?

Love you costume choice. Not crazy 'bout the tri-corn hat as they don't display goggles well. And as you can tell I really overdo it with the goggles! My jacket is just a costume jacket that I added piping and shoulder boards to. Best of luck on your venture into costume making!

That is a wonderfull idea! And good place to start too. She is a great character. I've only done one, but I am working on another costume. I really hope to see pictures of yours once it's done :)
