Profile Information

Introduction
Born in 1833. Served as officer in the Leib-Garde-Husaren of the Royal Ruritanian Army. Attended the Königliche Militärakademie for training as a general staff officer. Dispatched to the United States as a military observer during the American Civil War. Attached to the staff of Ulysses S Grant. Returned to Ruritania in 1865. Fought at the Battle of Teufelskessel against the Prussians in 1866. Served as a military escort for the young Princess Flavia (the future Queen of Ruritania) during her minority. Served on the General Staff as the Chief of the Deployment Section. Commanded the Leib-Garde-Husaren. Currently an Aide-de-Camp to Queen Flavia and commander of the Ordonnanz-Gendarmen der Königin.

Married to Charlotte Sophia Freiherrin von Hohenbühl in 1860. Widower since 1878. Three children.

I am sharing a few thoughts from the dark depths of my mind. The origin of Ruritania is to be found in a series of novels written by Anthony Hope in the 1890s. They are, of course, set in a fictional country located in the heart of Europe and were never meant to be expanded into any sort of basis for the strange, obsessive imaginations of others.
